Högsbo Hospital is a so-called smart hospital where we combine innovative methods with future IT support to enable high-quality care with the patient in focus. The hospital has a day surgery center, a specialist center with radiology, and sampling for adults and children. Högsbo Hospital is an important part of the development of local healthcare in the Gothenburg area.

Radiology is part of the Diagnostic and Service business area within the Hospitals in the West and is present in all four hospitals in the administration. The Diagnostic and Service business area also includes the VGR/SV Pharmacy and Medical Technology. The radiology operation consists of four fully digitalized general radiology units with modern equipment. In addition to conventional X-rays, the units also conduct MRI, CT, ultrasound, and some interventional activities. Currently, about 140 employees work in radiology at the Hospitals in the West.

At Högsbo Hospital, there is a general radiology reception focusing on modalities such as CT, CBCT, MRI, conventional X-rays, and ultrasound. Currently, we are a team of radiology nurses, medical secretaries, and radiologists working to provide our patients with that little extra. We are now looking for someone interested in being part of the continued development of our operation, which is constantly evolving. We are looking for a licensed radiology nurse with clinical experience who is seeking the next step in their career. It is important that you enjoy rotating between modalities, and it is therefore advantageous if you have previously worked with both MRI, CT, and conventional examinations.
